Minimum Requirements
1. MDC student must be 18 years or older.
2. Student must be enrolled in CIS AS or CCC program.
3. Student must have completed 3 credits in CIS at MDC
before Spring 2010 (not counting CGS1060).
4. Student must be past 50% of MDC CIS program or equivalent experience.
5. Student in good academic standing, with GPA of 3.0 or above.

Application Process
a) Submit your resume and MDC student ID# to mpbishop@mdc.edu by deadline.
b) Applications will be reviewed by MDC faculty screening committee & employers.
c) Employers will select students to interview & may apply additional selection criteria.
d) Employers will make offers to selected students.
e) Students accept employer offer by registering for co-op and signing co-op work experience agreement.

New Retired Exam Promotional Codes Posted for Cisco Certification Exams
Students, instructors, and alumni can access retired exam promotional codes through links on the following Academy web pages:

· Tools section of Academy Connection
· Help feature on Academy Connection
Retired exams will be available to the Networking Academy community through July 31, 2009 and promotional codes will be updated every six months.
To register for a retired version of a certification exam you will need to provide your academy name and ID. The two ways of registering with promotional codes are:
· Call a Pearson VUE service center (
www.pearsonvue.com/cisco/contact).

Current students are not eligible for Vouchers until they complete the fourth course: “Accessing the WAN”. Student must score 75% or higher on their first attempt of the Final Exam to qualify for Discount Vouchers.
